Starting the New Year Strong at Somerset
Golden Sedayu Construction has maintained strong momentum over the festive period, with the successful installation of the tower crane for Somerset East. The erection of the crane marks a key milestone for Burswood Point, signalling the vertical commencement of the first building within the broader 38-hectare masterplanned community.
Somerset construction progress
At the close of 2025, we are pleased to report that the piling is now 100% complete and that the piling contractor has now demobilised from site. This is a major milestone for the project as Golden Sedayu moves forward with progress on the individual towers.
Over 85 per cent of piling is completed at Somerset
As we move towards crane mobilisation in November, over 85% of the 177 foundation piles have now been tested with 100% pass rate to confirm the strength and integrity of Somerset’s foundations.
