As 2025 comes to a close, we would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas and share a final Somerset construction update for the year.
We are pleased to report that the piling is now 100% complete and that the piling contractor has now demobilised from site. This is a major milestone for the project as Golden Sedayu moves forward with progress on the individual towers.
At Somerset East, excavation of the building footprint is now complete. The team is making great progress preparing the pile caps that will support the main structure above, while works continue on the tower crane foundations ahead of its February installation. Once the crane is in place, vertical construction of the East Tower will begin.
At Somerset West, excavation will continue until the Golden Sedayu Construction team takes a short break over the Christmas and New Year holidays.
