We are pleased to report that April marked an exciting shift for Somerset, with construction moving beyond the ground and into its vertical phase.
Bulk excavation is now largely complete, and you can begin to see the structure taking shape as work progresses upward. A second tower crane is now in operation, helping to support activity across multiple areas of the site as momentum continues to build.
Both building cores are underway, along with basement and structural walls, while the first major foundation elements, including the Somerset West basement slab, have now been poured.
Only a small portion of excavation remains, with in-ground works across both East and West on track for completion early this month. Waterproofing is also progressing steadily in line with the construction schedule.
Completion remains on track for Q4 2027.
